Dr. Jane was a person who's life and work will ripple through time. She helped bridge gaps in our knowledge around our closest relatives and in doing so she helped us discover things about ourselves.

I wish that all of the "I don't like to talk about politics" people suffer x2 for their apathy and unwillingness to empathize with anyone that isn't themselves.
