John Ratzenberger (best known for playing Cliff Clavin on Cheers) invented a biodegradable alternative to Styrofoam peanuts in the late 80s, sold his innovation to a big packaging company, and kept his day job. It is, fittingly, the most Cliff Clavin thing anyone has ever done.
