Which I can respect. Like one of my biggest complaints with Repaint Your Heart is how afraid they were of spoiling their own continuity.

But yeah, once you let the public spoilers out into the open, that does make it a bit harder when you decide to do a remake.

Oh yeah. They definitely chose to not keep the killer's identity a secret, especially with the spinoffs like P4: Arena Ultimax and P4: Dancing All Night.

Massive respect to anybody who manages to go into Persona 4 Revival without knowing who the killer is.

Like I'd argue that the murder mystery is the weakest element of P4, so you can still enjoy the game with that knowledge, but even Atlus stopped giving a shit about keeping that secret.

The weird thing about P3 is that we genuinely have no idea what happened to Takaya.

He's either dead or locked up in a Kirijo Group prison somewhere. And the crazy thing about the latter possibility is that it raises the question if he remembers everything or not.
