The @tcgs.co lads did a Patreon stream of it a while back and it was a great laugh, but I think that ended with them stuck in Labyrinth.

I was surprised I did and feel bad because I would not call myself a fighting game player at all these days.

I will say though, for my money it seemed pretty class. Their format for 4 v 4 is quite different and dynamic, the connections were smooth and yeah... look good.

Found some good stuff in my loft, including base set Pokémon cards.
Complete set minus an Electabuzz.

Sadly doesn’t make me a millionaire though because these are HEAVY played, I didn’t know about sleeves then!

Did you get into the Marvel Tokon beta?
That had a 2D equivalent to the DOA things on the side that actually plays into the mechanics of 4 v 4 more than being a damage thing.

Seemed cool from the little I played.

I listened to a podcast today where they said "it's annoying because telling someone you're into DOA for the systems makes you sound like the person who says they get Playboy for the articles".

I was a fan of DOA. I know some hated how easy it was to do counters in that game but it was so dynamic.

Only played a couple of hours of ZA yesterday but thought the same, it felt wrong due to it.
For a moment I thought "ah maybe it's because I've not played one for ages" but that's bollocks.

I guess it's a little more noticeable in ZA because there seems to be a larger crew and it's actually funny.
