Yeah, it's sad man. When I wrote my backloggd review of Wattam and then to a T I struggled a little because I genuinely love that they exist - I just didn't get on with them that much.

That's a thing that always runs through my head, and I know it's a kind of non-argument when comparing 1 v 1, but I'm always thinking "we could have X number of great games for the cost and time instead" and that would be better and I'm not even meaning single dev indie etc.

To slightly elaborate on my contradiction, I just feel that Tetris is inarguably a GOAT and Effect is my favourite flavour of it. But I also feel Tetris is beyond games?

I don't feel the same because, I kinda just love all the roast themed shite, but it is overdone and I can see how it must fucking suck ass if you're not into it, just trying to grab a sandwich, a packet or crisps, anything savoury and seeing "we've put stuffing in it and this one is sage and onion"
