My take on:
Why Fed policy is a risk to working families.
How climate will impact jobs & pocketbooks.
Why not to fight climate-induced price spikes with i-rates.
Why the Fed must lower rates now, w/o compromising its independence

The labor market had been losing steam for a while, but the Friday #JobsReport shows losses that are more widespread. That's just as significant as the downward revisions. Job growth in healthcare can't carry the economy.
A few of my points that didn't make it in the @marketplace.org interview.
Just released, a new Marketplace episode on recent BLS statistics features President Pavlina R. Tcherneva: “It wasn’t terribly surprising.”

That bombshell jobs report? Some economists saw it coming.
Experts say low job growth is the predictable result of immigration and tariff policies.
