The Coyotes moved suddenly—similar to the hurried timeframe the PWHL had for their inaugural season—and anyway if there hadn't been a TM issue Utah would have been the Sasquatch right quick.

Vancouver and Seattle have had a longer runway to get things figured out. Not doing so is disappointing.

That was true for the league’s first season, but there was no reason for Seattle or Vancouver to wait a year. It is, as the OP said, a disappointing misstep for the PWHL.

Give new fanbases a brand to cheer for off the hop.

2. Minnesota - love the purple
3. Boston - stripes & shoulders
4. Ottawa - red pops but that zero logo?

Yeah it’s disappointing to see the new teams with a word mark that could be put together in ten minutes on Canva.

I’ve got seasons tickets for Vancouver but I’ll be rocking a Poulin jersey this year. So far the Montreal Victoire have by far the best look in this league.
