My friend noticed someone had gay pins and stuff on them , so she told me to go play air hockey.
I immediately went and played air hockey with her completely missing that my friend was trying to let me know to try asking her out 🙃

I used to think it would all work out as long as I was patient and kind- that I had to be understanding.
But I know now how bad it was sometimes. Reading the things you’d say outloud to a therapist & to friends was heartbreaking.
In no way should I have ever competed for “I love you” once a month.

I was a loud happy child. I suddenly became quiet & reserved.
I loved swimming. I refuse to go into water now.
I hugged anyone & everyone.
Now, I only started hugging very close friends again.
