Iceland Day 6: Yesterday was the first day of Iceland Airwaves music festival. We caught Ragnar Finsson, Flesh Machine, Knackered, and Panic Shack and discovered Lemmy's has an amazing selection of Icelandic beer on tap.

Seeing some posts from folks concerned about the tsunami, so wanted to step in: Here in Long Beach, WA, we're only expecting +1 ft. waves. It's reaching us at low tide, so our coast is pretty lucky. As of 12:18am, no evacuations. Just warnings to avoid the beaches, in case of sneaker waves.

The Morning Show Team on KEXP decided to stay on the air for 27 hours straight to lift their voices to support public media. Here we are, 15.5 hours later, they're on the air, and the Gathering Space is full of people, love, and music.
