Finally told my mom those tts storytime vids she's constantly watching drive me crazy and now I'm a horrible person who "minimizes" her apparently. Because I have misophonia and droning robot voices with no intonation set it off and she has a headphone dongle she never even opened okay great cool.

Just came across an "art" contest that told potential participants to "ask (some llm) to make the art for you!" and it advertised itself using machine generated imagery.

So. An "art" contest. With machine generated promo and (possible) entries. Kinda hard to have an art contest with no art, yannow?

...wrt XBC2, mostly unrelated but now I'm just remembering how I got put on a bsky blocklist of "probably porn addicts" because I'd been posting about funny things from my playthrough and liking / sharing fanart. Which is real funny given I'm ace and have no interest in porn XD

And I get how tiring having to deal with the same boring arguments for so long can be, as a Pokemon fan who's heard the "pokeymans r cockfiteing and aminal aboose" schtick for decades. Still, critique of a media isn't necessary an attack on its fans and more people need to learn that.

Okay, I get what you mean. I've definitely seen hints of what you're talking about, the whole "iceberg passing you by" metaphor comes to mind with that. Can't blame anyone being upset about racism in the past or present, but like...oh no, an e-celeb disliked That Thing I Like, time to riot ig 🙄
