Really interesting to see from the Sustainable School Leadership study report (via @tobygreany.bsky.social) that the transition to headship is challenging & that respondents preferred experiential learning & development (coaching, mentoring) over formal qualifications.

A brilliant culmination today of an immersive 12-week learning & development programme alongside incredible leaders from Manor Hall Trust.

It's been a powerful experience reflecting on leadership, curiosity, creativity & potential, when we challenge limiting narratives & ask 'what's possible?'
We have a few spaces on our Flagship Open Leadership Programme (Sept-Dec 25), which is not sector specific.

Great day of collective exploration yesterday alongside 10 amazing headteachers from Manor Hall Trust. We explored deep facets of leadership, from perception to internal narratives & how they become a filter through which we experience our day-to-day working lives.
Isn't it interesting that nobody teaches us when we're young about the inner commentator or 'chatterbox'? The one that has an opinion on most things & we take as truth?

We're exploring this as part of our 'state of mind' aspect of L&D alongside headteachers in a 12wk immersive programme.
We've been in deep exploration this week with a group of headteachers getting curious about thoughts, beliefs, resilience & potential. It's learning & development on a whole new level, with valuable practical implications in the education landscape. #educhat

It looks like time is currency, but if we're invested in a frantic pace of thinking, there'll never be enough time to get things done.

Can you make space to be curious about where you're placing your attention? Awareness creates perspective, which affects relationship dynamics & how we show up.
We associate 'flow' states with yogis or Olympic athletes - but flow science points to the potential available to every human being, in any given moment.

This is part of the blend of neuroscience, biology & insight-based learning that underpins our approach to #leadership & development.
It's a powerful image.

Growth may not always be visible, but it doesn't mean it's not happening.

Don't underestimate the potency of courage & the power of an accumulation of small steps to create great momentum.
