I will direct sister accounts, affiliates, associates, and colleagues on all platforms and outlets working with me on our Pure Land Buddhist unity campaign to cease ALL cooperation efforts with the BCA, withhold financial contributions, and bar future involvement of BCA members at our temples.
A little over two weeks ago, colleagues who engage regularly with Jodo Shinshu (BCA) sangha members drafted an impressive plan for 2026, one of the potential ventures being a PAN-PURE LAND outreach project. Regrettably, this will have to be put on hold indefinitely.
I have many Buddhadharma projects being worked on as it pertains to the Pure Land path, but more work needs to be done one consolidating Mahayana teaching propagation and unity.
Everyone, do your part. Do not neglect your role in the Sangha.

I will conclude by reminding everyone here of our shared commitment to equality, justice, and peacebuilding. Even so, we cannot have any of it if we are not honest about the issues at hand. If avoidance of conflict keeps us from true unity, we'd rather not collaborate at all.

In case anyone is baffled by this seemingly unprovoked reaction, this is NOT the first time we've been slighted or quietly rebuffed in our mission to achieve unity, organizational uniformity, and recognition as a movement by the BCA. Shinshu affiliates of mine have also experienced the same.

Time and time again we have fought, argued, and stood against anti-Mahayana rhetoric and action on other platforms, only to be met with weak reception. We are tired of being sidelined and avoided in the interest of "reducing tensions".

I, along with others, have selflessly supported the BCA for many years, striving for cooperation and solidarity within the marginalized Pure Land tradition. However, we cannot turn a blind eye to tacit disapproval of Pan-Mahayana sentiments from people who claim to be pro-inclusion.

Finally, if all independent Japanese Pure Land sects insist on maintaining their course towards disloyalty, we must take the unfortunate, but necessary, step of establishing a separate body for ALL unaffiliated Jodo Shu and Jodo Shinshu followers, governed by our structure.

It seems as though my remarks have struck a nerve with the Jodo Shinshu BCA (Nishi Hongwanji) and as a result have decided to unfollow me. This can only be interpreted as a confirmation of timidity and passivity that is emblematic of modern Mahayana.

Most importantly, STOP BEING LAZY! I cannot stress this enough. If you expect the Great Vehicle to flourish in this day and age without any honest effort, move out of the way. One day without outreach is another day some fanatic Hinayanika laughs at you. Don't like it? Do something about it.

I would also like to remind those of us who come from typically majority Buddhist backgrounds to stop allowing White people to hijack, dominate, and infest any and all Dharma teaching, propagation, and outreach.

For 2026, Mahayana Buddhists must be unapologetic, unabashed, and indomitable in their positions as to why the Great Vehicle is superior.
Do not engage with Hinayanikas, unless they engage or mention our Holy Path first, then give them no rest and make their lives a living hell.
