Gamers: I hate micro transactions, they shouldn't exist.
Also gamers: every single game should get regular updates and new content for years after release, without me having to pay for it.
Personally I don't like the predatory microtransactions, but I think extra money for extra content is fine.

idk maybe I'm just fucking tired but it's a lot harder to trust someone who says, "I won't draw immoral material" not to consider lgbt+ people, among others, immoral. It's just such a loaded word that even if you give examples of what you mean, it's open to mean so many other things.

I was given various examples of it being done right, vs being done wrong, with different types of authors tackling characters that they A) have not lived as and B) still wrote them as authentic, and it opened my eyes on the matter. Before, I was certain it wouldn't be right of me. [2 of ?]

I consulted a community I'm a regular of that has a very large representation of the trans community. I had a similar question of if I, a cis male, were to right a trans fem character, if that would be ok, and it was massively supported with the caveat that proper consultation was done. 🧵 [1 of ?]

I think the corollary that a lot of people miss about "write what you know" is that *you have the power to know more things.* Research and talking to people are a central part of writing!
