I do Tidal, their library and interface is the closest to a 1:1 switch coming from Spotify, and it costs the same but has a much better quality audio output (if you have the audio equipment to accommodate that) and pays their artists WAY more per stream

This shit probably saved us hundreds of dollars just that one summer, and considering we were directly in the path of the 500+ AQI smoke zones it also probably saved us and our dog from a lot of medical issues. Worked fantastically for allergy season after that too

i thought folklore was fine, but it was overhyped as hell. i felt like everything sounded so similar that if i wasn't really paying attention i'd just sort of miss when songs changed because it didn't sound different enough to register to my mind that it was a new song

i'm genuinely curious if she even likes making music anymore. it seems like more focus and time is spent on the business planning and the songs themselves are just... whatever happens after a few hours in the studio, like the music is an afterthought that's secondary to the album rollout strategy
