Just realized The Whole Bloody Affair is the first time I've watched Kill Bill since finally seeing Lady Snowblood. I can see the ways Snowblood heavily influenced Kill Bill, yet Kill Bill does not feel anything like a rip-off or unofficial American remake. Instead, they're perfect sister movies
