Most of my annuals are still alive. The Verbena (not shown) is actually blooming anew. The Heliotrope (shown) has turned a grey green, and the Snapdragons and even darker purple/red on the leaves. Ornamental Peppers and Japanese Mustard still going strong. Sheesh.

When I was a kid, these card sets were a THING. We were too poor for me to ever get a subscription to the club that sent you sets each month. I found this #houseplant set complete for $3 on Monday. The container can be used as a terrarium, I think! I love the vintage plant artwork.

As a permanently disabled American who would be homeless without federal help, I am not surprised by this at all. Republicans find very little value in us and don't mind if we struggle. I have been waiting for news that HUD cuts were beginning. Time for us to plan for the worst before it happens.

One thing to keep in mind,going into the holidays shopping season: huge corporations can offer deep discounts because they never intended to sell items at full price anyway- prices were always grossly inflated to make big discounts look like Deals. It’s built into their marketing.

I absolutely regret my vote for him. I would like to hear him explain his decisions in depth with a good interviewer, but I don't think that will happen. I wonder how much that stroke did him in, and if any medications he is on for his psych issues are playing a role.

I have blocked umpteen BlueSky bot or fake accounts posing as actual Leftists posting credible news. Why would a watchdog account's profile picture be of a beautiful woman in a luxury tourist destination? Don't follow, like, or absorb from unscrutinized sources! SCRUTINIZE!!!
