would be so cool in gui file explorer to constantly have sidebar with open terminal that's always in the same directory as gui

i like existence of ~the list~ because it speeds up realization of just how much AI usage is already everywhere and it's hopeless and ridiculous to remain some kind of purist in that regard
not going to QT any of this whole slopware watchlist discourse, but pretty depressing that is the sort of behavior people are resorting to instead of just, like, choosing to use or not use software. could have just been a "tools that don't use AI for development" list instead

Crazy that at the same time it's the most useful model to me on a daily basis. Just mix in some critical thinking on your side and it replaces web search entirely

I desperately search for reasons to actively be on this platform, so far everything inside screams that it's a waste and twitter just nicer place in most ways
I want this site to beat twitter, and for twitter to evaporate. For that to happen, people you hate must have a more pleasant experience posting here than posting there.
