Been a Democrat since I could vote. Over the years, I always feared big money could take over our government and I see it happening now. No DMs.
Can't blame you, I avoid some of my family members to avoid political arguments. In the past we could debate and disagree without an argument.
Knowing I won’t have to uncomfortably sit around the dinner table with my estranged brother gives me so much relief mentally….I will see my parents this weekend though. 💜

I guess it’s a good thing we were so concerned about the right to speak our opinions being outlawed by a ruling class that we guaranteed it by making it the very first amendment in our Bill of Rights when we formed the country.

All the money and time spent convicting known criminals, many of whom plead guilty, goes to waste when Trump overrides judges, lawyers, and juries for no reason other than personal gain. He has shown that there needs to be some oversight placed on presidential pardons.

People often forget about the NAZI movement before WWII in the USA, and just like our Civil War, many people cannot or will not admit their ancestors are on the wrong side of history. Just like these people, many Trump supporters will fade into the background.
