sometimes someone i don't follow keeps appearing in my timeline via boosts, and all of the posts that show are whinging... and then i don't know if i block them for being annoying, or if the person i'm following just boosts the worst stuff of theirs, misrepresenting them

when i was a teen i used to hop onto TinyChat a lot, i had an account there and one day i forgot my password, so i asked for a reset
rather than give me a reset link like any sane website, they provided me with an 8 character password via e-mail... and as a teen, I didn't care much about security

every time i get a notification that isn't from a person sending me a message or e-mail or something new which i've explicitly opted into getting updates from, i feel inclined to commit an act of violence. you are a computer, you *do not have permission to bother me*. i don't want to play Zuma.

it is crazy when there is a lightning strike such that despite it being so bright outside there is still a visible, bright white flash you notice while indoors... how bright can it get...
