Wheelwright’s stone and Lydford castle (medieval prison) behind it today. The wheel stone was used to fit a metal tyre onto a wooden wheel. The wheel hub fitted into the central socket while the work was being done, the stone was in use locally in the 1920’s. #Dartmoor, #Devon #photography #history

And also nhs wheelchairs probably won’t be suitable anyway. This is simply unacceptable in a country that has the wealth the UK has.

I think it’s brilliant there’s money being raised for rugby mnd sufferers ( yes I’m a rugby fan bizarrely). I just wish there was that support for non sports people . Some people with MND wil die before they get an nhs wheelchair with the current wheelchair wait times.

Should clarify I was diagnosed with an illness there’s just no treatment, cure or even a test for it … I never discuss what it is as I can’t bear people suggesting miracle cures 🤣.
