It was certainly darker than I expected what with the dementia and the depression and the suicidal tendencies, but I liked it. Not sure any of those women (in their 40s and 60s) are menopausal though.

Someone I follow posted the trad. "Brit food is terrible!!!" tweet but using Wigan's smack barm pey wet as an example. I replied saying this is a northern thing; London has many, many fine eateries, and he retweeted me, which led me to Americans AND Wiganites haranguing me for the rest of the day.

Just remembered having CBT (paid for by Macmillan) and the therapist told me I should grant myself the serenity to accept the things I couldn't change, the courage to change the things I could, and the wisdom to know the difference. Might as well have said: dance like nobody's watching.

Just realised that in Peacemaker, the alt-universe is Oz. Chris accidentally killed his alternative self (the witch), Augie is the (imperial) wizard, Ads is Glinda, Economos the cowardly lion, Harcourt the tin man and Adrian is the scarecrow. Eagley is Toto and i guess Judomaster is a munchkin?

Feels like my life outside work is chasing people who haven't done *their* work: the council not sweeping the street for a month, the police not responding to a call, the hospital not sending a letter they were supposed to post a fortnight ago.
