It can be pretty tough! If you start by learning a few obvious types you can usually go from there. Boletes are mushroom shaped with pores, puffballs are round, waxcaps are gilled but slimy on top. Inkcaps turn into black goo. I love fungi sorry! Happy to ID help where I can

Oh, I was definitely misinformed about that. I do change them quite a bit but probably not enough to count (tie dye/ bleaching, hem tag, neck label, and the print but I still buy a finished item to do it to). This is all very stressful and I'm not even back full time working yet!

I see! That's good to know. This whole thing is so confusing, probably on purpose. Tshirts are one of the things I can say are made in the UK because they're made in Bangladesh but printed here which counts as the last significant step.

Unfortunately most of my manufacturers are in China. I have a few things that are UK made so it might be time to focus on them for now.

Most polypores do grow in shelf structures out from trees but these ones grow up from the roots so it might look like it's coming from the ground. If it was near trees and had pores instead of gills it's a good bet. It's a bit harder to ID gilled fungi (the classic mushroom shaped kind)

"Hypothetical" question here but if you were head of a convention and an attendee said one of your staff had assaulted them would you:
A. Send the attendee a Cease and Desist
B. Suspended the staff member until an investigation is done
C. Make sure all staff had up to date safeguarding training

Attendee safety should be a primary concern and if you can't say for sure it didn't happen because you don't have "full investigative powers" why are you still insisting it didn't? This is being so terribly handled
