Swift is the Goldilocks of programming languages.. I won’t be taking questions at this time.
It probably needs work to be viable for jetpack compose. But that would be awesome!
I’m thinking about how I’d want to use swift in Android and..
I need GRDB or SwiftData or some way to access SQLite in a swift package that can be used from SwiftUI and Jetpack compose.

Hey Apple, please open source SwiftData.
Time to really learn jetpack compose 👀
📣Announcing the first preview releases of Swift for Android, enabling you to build Android business logic with the same Swift that you use for Apple platforms. www.swift.org/blog/nightly... #Android
SwiftUI preview canvas.
And I guess just xcodeproj in general. I really can’t wait for the day when a package dot swift file can be used instead.
Why are people still using XCode, exactly?
1. That is infuriating.
2. Claude, write tests and make them perfect and think really hard 😂
😂 quote post from my iPhone air..
Report: 'Virtually No Demand' for iPhone Air
Report: 'Virtually No Demand' for iPhone Air
Apple is "drastically" cutting production of the iPhone Air and shifting focus toward the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro models, Nikkei Asia reports. The business publication claims to have learned of a major cut to ‌iPhone Air‌ production motivated by weaker-than-expected consumer interest. Although Nikkei declined to disclose the extent of the production cut or which suppliers will be affected, it says that the changes may be seen in Apple's supply chain in the coming months. A new KeyBanc Capital Markets survey for investors reveals "virtually no demand for ‌iPhone Air‌, and limited willingness to pay for a foldable." Demand for other ‌iPhone 17‌ models is said to be healthy but measured, with the mix "continuing to shift toward Pro and Pro Max models." Moreover, AI features have yet to meaningfully influence buying decisions. Last week, Japan's Mizuho Securities said that Apple will reduce iPhone Air production by one million units this year. Meanwhile, Apple apparently plans to increase production of ‌iPhone 17‌ models by two million units. A separate report claimed that Samsung has canceled plans to release a successor to its own ‌iPhone Air‌ rival, the Galaxy S25 Edge, due to low sales. But Tom.. the server in your closet doesn’t have Amazon Black Friday scale.. lol
I promise, you don’t need that kind of scale.
You know what isn’t down? The server in my closet 🤷‍♂️

I guess I’m behind on my Apple News; I just found out my M4 MacBook is obsolete 😢 😂
Great thread, thanks for sharing. Also, Expo is excellent.
Yes, I’d imagine this is a top priority for that team.
I’m learning react native / expo for a project and it was shocking to find out that it needs cocoapods.. what year is it!?
That scares me for my ATProto project.. I hope people are nice
I’m out of the loop. What did I miss?
Wait.. it’s only Wednesday!?
Performance issues? Just add more RAM 😂
Absolutely, but to date I’ve only used Claude code hacking on some side projects and not for work. And that Claude folder is a dumpster file 😂
I do this. I have a Claude folder that I gitignore and I throw so much documentation and code in there for it to use as inspiration.
Isn’t that great!?
yo @tangled.org
2 feature requests;
1. private repos
2. organization support
I am willing to pay for this stuff.
if you were starting a new iOS app today would you use SwiftData or GRDB/sqlite-data?
I am officially moving all my repos to @tangled.org
bye Github 👋
I started using @tangled.org this weekend. They are doing a great job.
Someone may be donating that resource. That’s why I asked.

But until everyone I want to follow is here, I have to open that app from time to time.
Is there a way to follow Twitter users here?
