Darn, guess there's small delay with my project as I'm trying to wrap my head around how I'd use the infocard within my updated refs; do I form a written Bio in there, or do I use it for miscellaneous icons? H M M . . .

- Not exactly necessary (as descriptions/text-files exist).

Miscellaneous icons into the infocard.

PROS:
+ Enables simple yet potent way to show additional items/miscellaneous details about characters.

CONS:
- Some characters may not have much (if any) additional stuff to depict.

the fastest way to kill motivation is to make your identity depend on the outcome. it's called ego involvement. when failing becomes failing as a person, your brain starts avoiding the whole thing. not because you don't care, but because you care too much.

you don't need lower standards. you need less self-worth tangled up in your goals. the work gets easier when it's not about proving who you are.

Might be a bit rough experimentation on Krita, yet them side-fluff really has helped to prompt more of a canine-like feel to the lupine I reckon- .D.

Let's see; much smoother performance, lot of customization including font of the UI, ability to have reference-images to the side and pretty intuitive movement when using a tablet/pen-combo... >o>

Yeah, looks like yours truly is about to start a new era with Krita in coming weeks ^D^

A quick yet wholesome test-run with Krita featuring the Silverfur-siblings showing their sibling vibes after 2 hours of trying out brushes, settings and tools -u-

(Rest assured, I got proper refs for them in the works to be completed by early October in preparation for a contest soooo... stay tuned fellas!)

Happy 3-year anniversary to Don't Play Defense #Art #Pride

Mspaint doodle- a person strides forward, wearing a shirt with a trans flag. They say "I LOVE being trans!". They have an expression of pure glee.

The person is stopped by someone else, who accusingly points while they say "You! Justify your happiness to me!"

The accosting person says "Debate me no-". They are cut off by the person in the trans shirt saying "No thank you!" as lasers shoot from their eyes, exploding the head of the other character in a cartoonish fashion.

Been pondering about potentially ditching GIMP as my choice for drawing stuff: while it has done its job for past 12 years I'd imagine there are more optimized and simpler programs to utilize for visual creativity... 🤔

Thus, I'd like to hear out: which programs you fellas recommend/tend to use? ✏️

Gotta say, it felt really refreshing to not only realize my spark for doing stuff hasn't gone anywhere, but also that doing stuff on larger canvases do provide much more smoother results with outlines and coloring things .D.

Definitely feeling more confident towards my OC-refs project I gotta do o7
