This new Xbox news makes me said that Microsoft has wasted all the potential of Xbox, what it could have been and now what it almost certainly will never become. There are always benefits to lowering the barriers to games, but it only works in balanced competition or while ahead. This feels bad.

While I'm loving my time with Pokémon Legends Z-A, there are so many bad messages in this game to be teaching kids, from toxic parasocial relationships with online personalities, to defending corporate CEOs in the face of protests, and more between. Such a tonally weird game.

It's been a good Fantasy Critic year for me this year. Looking like I'll be coming in on top so long as Metroid Prime 4 doesn't come out full Gollum.

End of Ch1 in #FinalFantasyTactics I'm reminded just how layered this storyline is, and the fantastic job it does separating character/player knowledge so you can go "No...just talk" then end up in a fight you know neither side wants but ego or miscommunication reign. Exceptional storytelling.

A month ago, I was told I was liable to contribute £10k to replace the roof and porches of my building. In response, leaseholders asked for some transparency around how the condition of the roof had been left to get this bad.

I've never been so equally nervous that my launch day console isn't arriving, and so unenthused by the prospect of it's arrival, that I'm completely at a loss as to the jadedness I feel around the Switch 2.

As someone for whom The Last of Us Part 2 was GOTY in 2020, the season finale of the second season was an incredible way to lay the groundwork.
I loved the finale, but can also totally see why non-gamers, or those who had issues with the narrative structure of the game, are disappointed here.
