I'm riding a motorcycle in the San Francisco pride parade with my husband. We have matching realistic animal masks on; mine is a lion and his is a wolf. He is also wearing hockey gear and I am wearing football gear.

I'm standing wearing military gear and holding a kneeling person, also in military gear, by the neck. I have a rubber lion mask on, and he has a jackal-shaped gas mask on.

Two big cat fursuiters are dancing in a club. One is an adolescent lion and the other is a tiger, but maroon.

I'm wearing pony gear, and I'm standing on the other side of a fence from a curious and bemused actual horse.

Having a drink with friends at a student bar and I decided to share a Cheeky Vimto fishbowl, (the most millennial of drinks,) with someone. I offhandedly said "wow I don't think I've had one of these since like 2005" only to be met with an INSTANT "wow I was born in 2005 :)"

I think Star Wars's approach to pre-New Hope Coruscant where everything is opulent but also obviously super stifling is pretty great. It stops short of being The Hunger Games Capitol level so it's not camp but it's obviously Uncomfortable
