I will no longer feed the rage machine by boosting/reposting negative news articles and ugly political faces. Other than my personal posts with my music, cyanotype, writing or whatever else runs through or comes out of what we jokingly refer to as my mind, I'm done being a part of this unhealthy activity. I think everyone sane should consider this, too. I have a filtered word list a mile long. Look under settings->moderation for the filter.

There are good uses. cURL (as curl was once written) is an amazing tool that started in 1996.

I've never used iCloud even though Apple nags me to log in, etc. I have an independent cloud service I pay for where I send backups.

For those who still use Spotify, free or paid, Marcio and I released of cover of an old song, "Spooky". In 1967, it was an instrumental hit. Classics IV then did a version with lyrics. It's been covered a lot but we did yet another for fun. The cover photo is my niece.

I was jiving you. One thing was that I picked up the router, which is tiny, and accidentally turned it off. And that printer! Also powerline whatever those are called stopped working. They feed a Ubiquity access point upstairs. I'll be ordering a free repeater from the provider, newer tech.

I received notice by email. The breack was a month before. What's funny is that I closed the account long ago and requested my data be deleted. I asked "support" why I was emailed and they replied that they didn't find any such account email.

The route DHCP range r has be changed as many of my devices have fixed IP. The printer had to be phisically carried downstairs to connect to a ETH cable to configure it. No, the WSP or whatever that thing is doesn't work on it. 🤣

The music may not be to your taste, but "Fresh Cuts" by the Pure Food & Drug Act was recorded live at the Fresh Air Tavern in Seattle, Washington in 1972.

Some sites have cookies: ok, none, optional
Others have ok, choose parameters

if click choose, you'll see the longish list

I use Awesome Cookie Manager for that stuff and the Brave browser sometimes also just handles it, refusing all

Band in a Box, available for Windows and MacOS does an alazing job of generating your backing band from a chord chart. It's especially good for jazz and bossa, but can do most types of music like country and folk. Since it has no soul, R&B and blues lack conviction. 😁

This said (with a typo I can't edit), I don't hate the tool, I just object to the word 'intelligence' used in the marketing phrase. I have seen nothing intelligent in any of this yet. Musically, I've been using an app that generates great backing tracks for over ten years. They analyzed genres.
