The bots used the high fire rates of these rifles to try and force the Jedi Knight back down into the corner.]

Even as extremely advanced machines they still were not adjusted to the speed of his swing. with 3 of the units falling immediately into halves on the floor with glowing orange ends. The rest opened fire as his lime colored silhouette fully came into view.

Quickly enough they found nothing within the circle. Nor the hall leading to it. it was about 40 seconds before the bots returned and began closing in on Luke, Their rifles raised and quiet as a mouse as they moved.

[As their frame's filled out completely, and all of the lights across their chassis were illuminated, the bots unholstered their plasma rifles and began combing the room for the Jedi knight. Compressed digital stuttering noises emitted from the machines bounced off the room's walls as they roamed.

With a subtle change of hue of the lights covering them, the machines began to rise and reactivate, revealing plasma rifles that were hidden beneath their collapsed chassis.

It became obvious pretty quickly that his presence was unexpected and v e r y unwanted. Lets hope he can get to cover..]

The bots were curled into a fetal position on their feet until Luke entered far enough into the room. When The Jedi knight stepped past the first row of bots, the hum of the monolith ceased, causing a ringing silence to permeate through his mind.

Surrounding the monolith were dozens of bipedal machines with a single light in the middle of their head for an eye. Their bodies were covered in metal panels similar to the walls with limbs that looked like they were made thick steel wire twisted into braid.

Eventually it came to a large room in the shape of a circle cut in half, a large device in the middle of the room emitted a low hum the reverberated soothingly off the nooks of the room. though this device was not the most alarming thing in the room.

[Perhaps it resembled an old Jedi temple, one that had been built to last thousands of millennia. Though as the Jedi knight plunged further down the cavernous halls, the stone walls emerged into elegant steel panels with swaths of cables flowing underneath and over top of the thick metal walls.
