(I tend to feel more confident roleplaying as OCs, because they're my own character. I don't feel like I'm trampling on the spirit of a character if I take interest in them and end up writing them wrong.
Or at least, that's the fear I always have with canon characters.)

Nothing will ever beat my Danganronpa OC becoming a Remnant and people getting /pissed/ that she made nukes and dropped them onto cities.
Because "Nukes don't cause despair". Their logic is it is too quick for despair to unfold.

(Jeritza is a pretty tame 'villain' compared to some of the villains in FE. Hell he's hardly a bad guy compared to some of the characters from even the previous game. Remember the murderhobo named Peri?

I remember how when Three Houses came out, I made an FE OC for Three Houses and people gave me flack for her having a darker, violent personality.

Veeeery tempting offer. Research is fun, and it's possible that her expertise in biology might be needed.
Then again, she'd be leaving all of her family and friends behind...she really would be torn, but ultimately she'd probably choose not to go.

(That's one thing that Gen 8 is completely unmatched in. Gyms feel like they're hugely important and milestones in your journey thanks to just how seriously the game treats them in universe. They're events that people both casual and elite gather and watch, and that's thanks to how the game models
