Caro's birthday is on halloween, but their parents always made them choose something pretty instead of scary. They chose angel cuz its almost like a ghost right? if angel not scary...than why say be not afraid? i'm sure there's a troublemaker right around the corner with a scheme to save the day!🎃

you've alluded to this before and i still think you should go for it. people just love to hear folks talk. before i did the podcast people would just tune into my livestreams and not even watch me DRAW but just to listen to me yap. there's a reason talk radio was so popular. do it do it!

yesss Seemingly Dark with their original appearance takes place in 2018/2019, but i kinda have always avoiding nailing down years in my stories even if i have an idea of it. now i wanna draw them pushing 30 though omg.

to me, 1996 is NOT millennial even if it technically supposedly is, which is why now i just say A Million Stories from the Liminal Spaces hahaha. The Troma-esque logo my husband made was too cool not to use.

ha right? the name IS a ref to millennials, since it was supposed to be set in the 90's. but now, Canonical Caro would have been born in 1996 which barely squeaks them into ML gen, and the podcast takes place around 2015. i was attached to the name by then so i kept it. still works... kinda haha!

2 panels, in the first one Caro is taking into a mic wearing headphones. They are saying 'Hey hey listeners! welcome back to Nitecast radio. I'm your host, Caro Greene, here for the graveyard shift. Let's grab another call before we get back to the spooky vibes. Who's on the line tonight?' In the second panel we see the bottom half of John's face on a pay phone receiver. He says 'hey Angel Eyes. it's been a while.' Caro is covering their mouth and blushing with stars around them. they are listening to him speak. he says 'I heard your show and I thought I'd give you a call. I know it's been forever, sorry about it. life got in the way. remember how we danced in that parking lot in '82? I think about it a lot. I think about you a lot.' in the second panel we can see his scars while he speaks. 'anyway, I'll stop taking up your time, babe. proud of you, big famous radio host. I just wanted to say what I never said back then.' A light up on air sign with the words 'thank you.' and an audible click indicating he hung up before the could reply.
