thinking about biting Nighthawks and making a game inspired by a painting. this is an illustration from a Victor Hugo story, so ostensibly there is further context to it, but I can't imagine a narrative explanation to be as satisfying as this chaotic mess on its own.

ive finally figured out how to hack the gremlin part of my brain thats constantly like "why would i want to be drawing comics (my job) when instead i could be reading comics or reading fic about comics". the solution was to find a comic tv show that im only allowed to watch while i ink pages
