My issue with parrying is how it's getting stuffed into every game and becomes some skill measure, or when it's just annoying.

I was able to grab that 512 GB microSD Express on sale AND had a gift card to cover the cost, so that was nice. Moving all of my Switch 2 games over to it now, will be much more comfortable storage-wise hopefully for the foreseeable future.

The nature of Dungeons & Dragons makes me think that DMs need to expect players to forget small details between sessions, notes or not. A small tease at an important detail may not persist enough between sessions without reminder.
My memory is bad though.

TGA's audience is full of people who shouldn't be there. Whether it be hyped-up fans who paid stupid amounts of money to watch 3 hours of ads or bored Hollywood teens who couldn't care less. Each and every seat at TGA should be a privilege exclusively reserved for a proud game dev.

When I attended via Future Class, I was seated next to an award-winning game dev. We were both on our phones. During a break a director came up to him, got in his ear, and said "seat fillers shouldn't be on their phones".

Devs were only allowed a few (I believe two) tickets per nomination before Geoff charged them. Resale tickets were in the hundreds. And we all know what happened to Future Class (if you don’t, read my piece).

Probably my one complaint about Lego Party, they have a lot more recognizable characters they could have put in as well
LEGO Party has both Johnny Thunder AND Rocket Racer in it... but no Pepper Roni? So I'm supposed to, what, eat shit and die?
