I don't understand people who super paranoid about their oc's design. You have a white haired twink for an oc, join the club. There is literally a lawsuit between Michael Moorcock and Andrzej Sapkowski exactly about this. You know who those two ocs are? Elric of Melnibone and Geralt of Rivia.

Unless you've got some singular mechanical vision, I think you should be banned from making a fantasy ttrpg. We have enough eurofantasy elfgames, we're reaching an upper limit.

Mobile Suit Gundam: the Origin is a frustrating OVA series. It can't decide if it wants to be good or terrible- most of it is eh, some of it is awful, some of it is p good and enhances the source material.

New John Cale single is vry good. Ominous, droning, continues the feel of a lot of his modern stuff. Spoken word section reminds me of Music For a New Society.

When I was younger I wanted so bad to be an industry artist, bc thats your dream when your an artsy teen in wellington, and now I'm sitting here and I'd rather do literally anything else with my life. We have such limited time and I don't want to spend it working on the gollum movie.

Rereading Earthsea and I like how hard Le Guin pushes things like the characters skintones to establish that this is not a white western medieval fantasy world, a defining pillar of series identity everyone collectively ignored until like 2018.

Everybody should just pirate everything. Download all the ROMs you can, play old games that Nintendo wants to charge you $60 for the privilege of playing again, anybody who has a problem with this has incurable cop-brain and you shouldn't listen to anything they say
tbh as much as official rereleases are good for accessibility, I also feel like a lot of people just won't play games if they don't have official versions and that's not great for culture. Everyone should be downloading random ROMs until they find that special one that breaks their brain wide open.
