Apple has opted iOS and MacOS users into an AI photo scanning feature which tries to extract landmarks from your photos called Enhanced Visual Search by default with little notice.

A bipartisan special parliamentary inquiry in Australia today said big tech is “pillaging culture, data and creativity” to train AI, and must license and pay for training data.

This is how all governments should respond to this technology.

Hello new followers! I’m Zara, an artist working on Magic: The Gathering & drawing & painting for myself in my free time. Here are some of my favorite painting I’ve done 🖤
“Stasis” is a portrait painted by the artist Zara Alfonso, and is the first piece in her series about invisible illness. A portrait painting of a girl with skin so pale she’s almost translucent, her lips are tinged blue and she gazes upward through seemingly unseeing eyes. Pale moths and winged insects cover the expanse of her face and body, blending into her skin in places. “Tenacious Underdog” is a painting by the artist Zara Alfonso, done for the Magic: The Gathering Streets of New Capenna set. A boxer lounges over the corner of the ring, he’s bruised but grinning as a figure from the cheering crowd hands him a glass potion bottle filled with red liquid. “Bereaved Survivor” is a painting by the artist Zara Alfonso, done for the Magic: The Gathering Innistrad Midnight Hunt set. A young girl from Innistrad mourns in front of the grave of her late sister, in her hand she clutches a locket. It’s late autumn and the weather is overcast and gray, on the edge of the first frost. “Medusa Portrait” is a portrait painted by the artist Zara Alfonso. A portrait of a young Medusa who looks peacefully towards the viewer, her hair is flowing mass of thick iridescent dark indigo snakes tied up in a head wrap.
