I watched this trilogy again this year and it holds up very, very well. A firm foot forward for DS9 to reinforce its own identity.

Definitely a weaker finish than most TNG 2-Parters. Lots of potential and I’m a sucker for seeing someone new in command (Arsenal of Freedom, Gambit). Posits interesting new ideas but the wrap up isn’t doing much for them.

Yeah, too tired to put my mind into editing tonight. I half to re-shoot a segment anyway tomorrow. Seems I deleted something I shouldn't have, but it's a small piece. Should be easy to re-do. I'm gonna rest. Work today was shit, anyway.

Seriously, not only is it almost unbelievable that this even works, but it's doing full HD video with incredibly good image quality. It's also a royal PITA.

Jaws first came to mind. Not one of the sequels are worthy of the original.

Also, they marked Taken as a 2012 film when it was originally released in 2008. I never bothered seeing any of those sequels.

I grabbed the Blu-ray Audio release of the Purple Rain album recently. It's a HELL of an experience, even if it's still just downmixed from Atmos to my 5 speaker setup.

No special features are listed aside from the audio commentary and trailer. Seems like a direct port of the Shout Studios 4K. Unfortunate.

I revisited the sequel a few years ago and I liked it more than I used to. Just on an entertainment level it worked more for me. Surely, it lacks enough original ideas to really feel fresh, but the cast is fun. Julie Carmen as Regine is alluring.

I was supposed to be at a Judas Priest / Alice Cooper concert tonight, but I bowed out in order to get things done for the channel tonight. I hope everyone appreciates my sacrifice. I've never seen Alice live before, really. It would've been the best thing ever, too.
