Just saw the hucksters have been selling off your work to AI Bros at $40/month and it made me concerned that one day Wix and their AI will be the only ones with copies of your dA works long after the site has gone offline

I've been archiving various dA galleries and sending copies off to artists so they aren't essentially held hostage by dA's wretched UX

Keeping this to mutuals and verifiable artists but if you need a copy of your gallery so you can mass delete walk from dA, Instagram, x, etc send me a DM

But if you built with Bases in mind from the ground up and threaded all the abilities in metadata you could do interesting things like run an economy with formulas that feed back to a GM dashboard.

Obsidian was always interesting because you could archive and house the entire RP within Obsidian but unless you were the creator it had a tendency to become difficult to navigate to other users in a collaborative manner.

I've dallied with the idea of using Obsidian as a way to GM future TTRPGs and RP scenarios but the new Bases feature really gives me some ideas about how to actually get it done.

for sure, the rules do change constantly and it's not to imply others are slow for not noticing or seeing it, it's more just my understanding a lot of people use it for free which is what generates a lot of revenue

but here i am calling the kettle black as i pay YT (to benefit my watched channels)
