Am only 3 books in to Discworld stuff and I have noticed this guy is real good at describing the process of dudes warming up to or becoming romantically attracted to women who EXPLICITLY fall well outside of their 'awooga' range. When he says a lady is 'plain' I believe him. It's good. GOOD WORK
