Finally figured out my #FirstDraftFall project so I redid my Oct spread.
Collage with header "Happy Halloween", and cartoon pumpkins, bare trees, ghost, bats and buildings with lit windows.

The pictures in the collage, from top right to left, then down:
1. Akemi Homura from Madoka Magica episode 12 with the corrupted wings. Godoka is hugging her shoulders from behind.
2. #FirstDraftFall banner.
3. #TimeTravelAuthor prompts for October 2025.

On the mobile, after navigating to a personal bsky, instead of tapping on a tag you need to long press/hold your finger on the tag until the below option pops up. I forgot how to do it in the browser.
Options after long press: See #TimeTravelAuthors posts OR See #TimeTravelAuthors posts by user OR Mute TimeTravelAuthors.

Yeah I'm not seeing you when I use any hashtag from your bsky, though when I force the issue and say "tags by user", you will appear. Not sure what is going on.

So yes, I think these men have no use for other humans - they wouldn't be so obsessed with robots if they did - and they want to eliminate creative work. But the other half of "why can't they make labor easier" is they don't do a lot of that labor. They invented the roomba and called it a day.

I think that's part of it but the other part is it's men -and in this case especially rich men - and they already don't do those tasks, so they don't see them. This is why we're getting Samsung TV's with ads and not fridges that remind us to eat the lettuce before it spoils

This is the tell that they don't want people with creative capacity. They want menials and drones that they can use extract wealth from their lives and labors, then discard before the next quarterly report.

The actual cruel burden is the point.

it’s said all the time but I think we should continue to hammer home how insane it is that we got dead-eyed bros trying to sell us robots that will free us from the supposedly cruel burden of “creative careers” instead of the actual cruel burden of “doing menial household chores”

I’m getting big “artists at a con circulating the same $20 around” vibes but like, in an evil way

Friends, some advice if you plan on spending time outside in an animal costume, sharing for no particular reason:

-You will sweat a lot more than you think. Have water/snacks

-You cannot move well (the Left Shark guy is a trained experienced professional dancer). Don’t run or you’ll trip and fall.

For canon consistent teams in #madoka_exedra #magiaexedra gotta start with the OG Holy Quintet. Scored extra backgrounds and costumes for the Dollhouse too!
Walpurgisnacht in a stormy, debris filled sky, with a team of magical girls facing her down with their weapons at the ready. From left to right, the girls are Sayaka, Kyouko, Mami, Madoka and Homura in braids.

One thing that sidereal Libra teaches us is that just because everyone has agreed on something doesn’t mean that it is true, accurate, or even ethical. Agreement can be manufactured or forced, a tool to manipulate people into complying with things they normally wouldn’t.

Ren Isuzu from Magia Record/Magia Exedra (commissioned work)
Ren Isuzu from the MadoMagi spin off game, Magia Records holding her staff and a magic force comes from the edge of it, creating an image of a Scythe, over a sunrise that shines through a bone graveyard that slowly turns into a flower garden. It's framed over a tarot like embelishments and there's the number thirteen in roman numerals, indicating that Isuzu represents the death card.

October folklore includes traditions surrounding the thinning of the veil between the worlds during Halloween and the Celtic festival of Samhain, the importance of the Hunter's Moon, and the symbolism of harvest. Hares are associated with the moon and liminality.
