Maybe there was a method in the madness after all

You’d swear it was Lee Bowyer v Kieron Dyer mk2 based on this explanation #EFC

This will be a more spectacular drop-off than Neymar had. Even if Madrid cave, it won’t help him win a Ballon d’Or because he’s already torching his own career
Vinicius Junior has told Real Madrid that he does not want to renew his contract while his relationship with head coach Xabi Alonso remains so strained.

“Let him cook”, though
Thelwell sacked within a few months at Rangers, I've said all along he is not quite the genius he was portrayed to be. DOF have large teams behind them picking out players, so think its always naive to attribute the likes of Ndiaye solely to him. Nice guy, poor Dof and found out.

The athletic and the guardian running these stories this month…never an investigation as to why folk use em. And for reference, I’ve a genuine sky subscription but completely get why folk use em!

Slot "It's my responsibility if we win or lose... I see a lot of things where in a normal situation the result would've been different but we are in a difficult situation & you need to do even more to get your results"

Slot on #LFC defensive reshuffle "After I took Ibou off, we played with two midfielders in our last line. But we also needed goals which was why I brought Hugo Ekitike on. Just before we conceded a third, I went 3-3-4 because I didn't feel we were able to create a lot after the first sub"

There were seasons under Jurgen Klopp when #LFC lost their way but still managed to pull it together to salvage things, be that with a cup run or a top four finish. It's hard to see Slot doing either on the current evidence

This is set to be #LFC's biggest home loss in the Premier League since a 4-1 drubbing by Manchester City in 2021 and their heaviest without reply by the same current 3-0 score line to West Ham in 2015

3-0
November 22, 2025 at 4:39 PM
#LFC hurtling towards their sixth Premier League defeat in seven games. Forget the talk about a title defence, this is a team which is alarmingly devoid of solutions

Jones switches to right-back after Konate's withdrawal. Gravenberch partnering Van Dijk in the heart of defence

It's actually Konate who's making way
Ekitike coming on, invariably for Isak

2-0. No disputing that one

Konate getting off incredibly lightly by that disallowed goal. Appalling defending and does beg the question about whether the saga over his future is becoming an unhealthy distraction

Scratch that, disallowed for handball by Jesus

1-0 Forest
November 22, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Still early in but Isak isn't getting himself in the right areas when #LFC are on the attack, so much so that the onus fell to Jones to press as Forest played back to Sels
November 22, 2025 at 3:21 PM
Sean Dyche, Ian Woan and Steve Stone all in matching tracksuits enthusiastically applauding the Forest fans in sync before kick-off. Definitely didn't see much of it, if at all, during their Everton days
