In 1941, the Royal Canadian Air Force Women's Division was established.
During the Second World War, 17,000 enlisted to serve with it, and 30 lost their lives in active service.
This is the story of the women of that service.

As air show season is in full swing in Canada, watch our video about Jameel Janjua, a Canadian pilot and astronaut, who developed a passion for flying at air shows.

And he is the first Canadian astronaut to fly a winged rocket ship to space, so that pretty cool!
