the anthropic drama (tl;dr they blocked third party tools from using claude code subscriptions) is a useful reminder that you use LLMs at the pleasure of the companies providing them

I loved the first 20 years of MTV, but I think on balance, the last 20 did more damage than good, culturally. I think you can draw a reasonably straight line between the rise of reality TV and the ongoing trainwreck/clown show that is the modern media landscape.

Look, you can put Heroes over pretty much anything and it will be awesome, but I really dug the ending credits of Stranger Things. And I think overall, they stuck the landing… maybe a little “safe”, but definitely a good watch, and good capper to the series.

I don’t talk much about my run on Magic: The Gathering, but I think about this opening page a lot.
I thought it was a nice coda to all of Jed’s excellent work in the previous 20 issues, and spoke to the deepest fear of every would-be-conqueror.
