One of my posts - an answer to @bluthrunthru.bsky.social this morning was flagged with a label for using “hashtag BreakfastCrew” for “follow farming”? What the heck does this even mean? Or quite simply, just “what the heck”?

I appealed, of course, but this strikes me as strange. Any thoughts!

A post by me labeled for (I guess) engaging in “indiscriminate follow farming and follow-back networks and applied to posts using hashtags or linking to sites for follow-farming.” I guess this is bad or frowned upon?

Not to compare platforms but something similar happens with FB, Threads, etc., where the posts alter after you navigate away to another open tab or what-have-you. In that regard, Blue’s search is a bit more functional.

I also assume I could root around in my settings and work out a filter system,

instances elsewhere? If it’s not user error, I’d assume there’s an indexing issue somewhere (I’m not ruling user error out; I was in tech too long and I know my foibles too well). Anyway, I’ll check in tomorrow as a test and may continue my own QA later today.

still concerning because if I go directly to Kinley Brenda’s post, sort oldest to newest (my default, anyway), scroll very slowly, the earliest post I see from you is your reply to Josef (I think) and others at the 5 hour ago mark, likely right after your “bar’s open” post, which - I swear doesn’t

Hi Jaye! I use the Sort function (the double arrows in the upper right hand corner) to sort on threads. That’s why I got concerned; your initial post wasn’t showing up. I actually noticed this yesterday. I intended to search your timeline but just got around to it and there you are!
