Star Trek actually uses Ai pretty well.
All modern ships have an incredibly capable Ai on board.
It can calculate, navigate, interpret, analyse…
Still they use humanoid Navigators, Linguists, Engineers, Scientists etc.
The ships supercomputer is a tool those professionals can use.

Spielbergs vision and Winstons craftsmanship made Jurassic Park (93) into a groundbreaking milestone in filmmaking.
Imagine they used Ai.
It would’ve likely just stolen one of Harryhausens creations.
And the movie would’ve made no impact whatsoever. I’m 100% sure.

Did an experiment.
I asked Ai to give me the part number of an oil filter for an extremely common car.
A task an intern could do. Easily.

With confidence it gave me a number that was anything but a part number.
On 2nd and 3rd try, it gave me a working number but the wrong one.

DONT TRUST AI!
