Most people in the south think people on gov programs are lazy fraudsters. Until THEY or a loved one gets on those programs. Then they'll say THEY deserve it. They are the exception and should get it but everyone else doesn't deserve it. This ignorant mindset makes me sick to my stomach.

Christian-nationalists are the "Islamists" of Christianity. No literally. An "Islamist" is a conservative Muslim that wants government and Islam intertwined. That's exactly what Christian-nationalists want. They just want it with Christianity rather than Islam.

Centrists aren't in there to beat Republicans. They're there to keep progressives from power. To keep Mamdani from winning, half of the establishment will get behind Eric Adams-someone who's so corrupt, he's literally controlled opposition for Trump. They rather Trump get a win than progressives.

Congrats to Mexico! 🇲🇽 They just had an election for their Supreme Court. They now have the most progressive Supreme Court in the world. Including an indigenous Chief Justice. Mexico is proving to now be a better republic than the U.S.

The fact Democrats STILL listen to anything James Carville has to say is the problem with the party. He hasn't been on a winning campaign since 1992 and even then they only won bc 3rd party Ross Pero pulled votes away from Bush Sr. Without that, Clinton wouldn't have won. Stop listening to losers.

I think what killed the New Deal era and birth neo-liberalism is that LBJ passed Medicare and not Medicare-for-all. People saw their taxes go up significantly but didn't benefit from them until they were 60. If it were universal they would've seen the benefit in the higher tax and not ended the era.
