I don’t know what is wrong with the world but do know I just $40 to park in what was previously a metered street parking space. And I’m only half in the space so likely will get a ticket anyhow. This isn’t inflation it’s robbery.

I don’t know who needs to hears this but Rosalia’s album Lux will solve all your lingering issues and heal your inner demons. It will take me years to understand it all but I am not the same person I was before listening.

I don’t live in NYC but have a trip planned there this spring and love that today my oldest said - when we go to New York Mamdani will be the mayor! The excitement is infectious. Don't forget to vote today, I voted early here in Virginia!

I would very much like to go back to work now. My brain is atrophying, I am having dreams about mentally rewarding work conversations - that’s how bad it is. However, two benefits of being at home again (since I’ve been a home based employee for 15 years and forced into an office my Trump).

If someone badmouthing SNAP recipients calls themselves a Christian, so help me, I will be writing a letter personally to St Peter himself letting him know their entrance through the pearly gates should be revoked on the grounds of not following the teachings they profess to believe in.
Some are mad because people are on SNAP and not working.

I wish my kids were swifties, I don’t know how they navigate life without her. My oldest son just had his first small heartbreak and when I hear “when your first crush crushes something kind” I just cry for him. Parenting is hard, parenting teens is really hard. Hug your moms’ people.

I just saw a large spider and I wish I had a recording device running bc I could have sold that blood curdling scream to every Hollywood studio. I don’t even mind spiders but this one was huge & was in my hands (on something I picked up). Now I can’t find it so it will haunt me for all time.

In case this hasn’t hit mainstream media the federal firings have started again. Entire offices decimated. What’s worse since we can’t work we don’t even have the community we would typically have for support and gathering. I feel like they will walk some of it back but these are real people.
