I’ve never been asked before because we had freedom of movement.

From now on we will have to decide before we go where we will stop and stay.

Which unfortunately is part of losing freedom of movement.

I have often. It was freedom.
Arrive in France, drive as close to destination as feel comfortable then find a hotel, campsite or Airbnb.

I can’t believe either of these stories.
Both have simple solutions that involve compromise.

Regarding cricket, easy no parking while matches are on unless you accept the low risk of being hit by a cricket ball.

I don’t understand this e-ticket problem.
I only buy e-tickets and never had an issue at Euston.
I might be lucky.
However I now try and drive everywhere due to problems like you’ve described.

I’ve had the Boss Waza Air (similar specs) headphones for a few years now and they are great.
No wires (I hate trying to play guitar with wired headphones) sound quality is great.
Don’t need the app just play.

What I took from the podcast is this:

1970s - Let’s do something!
Something gets done.

2020s - Let’s do something!

Something needs a ton of expensive compliance.
Something isn’t done.

Also add in the uncountable ways the internet can undermine something.
