I guess it’s going to be volunteering in the form of impressment that the navy used to get “volunteers”.

I’ve never been asked before because we had freedom of movement.

From now on we will have to decide before we go where we will stop and stay.

Which unfortunately is part of losing freedom of movement.

I have often. It was freedom.
Arrive in France, drive as close to destination as feel comfortable then find a hotel, campsite or Airbnb.

I can’t believe either of these stories.
Both have simple solutions that involve compromise.

Regarding cricket, easy no parking while matches are on unless you accept the low risk of being hit by a cricket ball.
Pitch pre dates the motor car jeez

I don’t understand this e-ticket problem.
I only buy e-tickets and never had an issue at Euston.
I might be lucky.
However I now try and drive everywhere due to problems like you’ve described.

If it’s garden waste it’ll be purple

If it’s recycling it’ll be black

If it’s general waste it’ll be green

Obviously 😆

No really it’s true

I’ve had the Boss Waza Air (similar specs) headphones for a few years now and they are great.
No wires (I hate trying to play guitar with wired headphones) sound quality is great.
Don’t need the app just play.

If you had to deal with nested IFRAMES in tables you would also be one 😆

What I took from the podcast is this:

1970s - Let’s do something!
Something gets done.

2020s - Let’s do something!

Something needs a ton of expensive compliance.
Something isn’t done.

Also add in the uncountable ways the internet can undermine something.

Four helicopters in the Quarry!

Obvious next step isn’t it, get AI to help you with using AI.
Why it can’t just run itself in an endless loop doing stuff just to amuse itself?

What’s a fair price for 12 hours’ entertainment? Would you pay £50 if you felt you got your money’s worth?

And: Do you feel connected to Shrewsbury Flower Show and its parent body’s activities, or does it seem to you like ‘The Haughty Cultural Society’?

Nice, I discovered the grave in mid June, so that must be very recent.

I had no idea when I saw it, it was a surprise.
