I watched a video from an artist suggesting people to adapt their work around AI quickly so they don’t get outcompeted by others. I found it very weird, and to be honest, stupid. First of all, the idea of “competition” is very capitalistic itself.

I visited my college friend today who is now a writing professor. As we’re discussing how frequently students are turning in AI essays, we realized we were the last generation of US college graduates who completed all of our essays by hand and never got under the shadow of AI.
