I don't understand how I've managed to lose a whole drafted chapter but I closed my computer a couple weeks ago and I think I've somehow deleted the final chapter of Who Will Fix Me Now.

This year I've been working on an idea for a novel - fantasy, adventure, probably a healthy dash of romance - but it's still doing the brain swirl and I've not got to words on a page in full sentences stage... 1/2

It is Christmas Eve and I've travelled to the countryside to be with family - but I have forgotten my copy of The Dark is Rising at home in London. This is a travesty. My copy is full of notes from every year I read it. Maybe I need to get an ebook version and then write postits.

I think we need to add something: You are not entitled to anything here.
On social media platforms where your data is the product, the owners want you to stay, which gives you a sense of entitlement.
A community works different. A community doesn't cater to you, it's a give and take from everybody

Fanfiction etiquette is incredibly simple, actually. Don't like it, don't read it. No one is forcing you to, which is why it looks ridiculous to complain about it, especially if you were content warned. AO3 tags + "exclude" is one of the greatest reading tools ever. Use them properly and voila!
