Trump Admin’s reckless rollback of clean air safeguards undermines the core mission of the EPA and is bad for your health, the economy, & our environment.

This isn’t just about Senator Kelly’s rights. It’s about your first amendment rights & the rights of all veterans.

In America, you’re allowed to disagree with the government without the government unfairly punishing you.

I hope the court moves to curb Trump Admin’s authoritarian impulses.

Once again, President Trump loses in a court of law.

His indefensible, job-killing order to needlessly halt Revolution Wind, weeks away from delivering cheaper & cleaner power to RIers, has been overturned.

The Fed sets interest rates based on economic data & what’s best for Americans.

For Trump, the best interests of the American people matter less than his political goals.

That’s why the Trump DOJ is attacking the Fed.

Last week, 17 House Republicans finally stood up against Trump & voted to extend ACA tax credits and lower health care costs.

Now, Senate Republicans must do the same & join Dems to protect affordable health care for millions of Americans.

The Trump economy is not working for working Americans. Pres. Trump’s tariffs are driving up costs & his billionaire giveaways are hurting Main Street.

I’m fighting for lower costs & economic policies that work for everyday RIers.

Five Republicans voted against Trump as U.S. Senate voted 52-47 to advance a resolution curbing Pres. Trump’s Venezuela war powers. More work remains, but this is a step in the right direction.

In the wake of the Venezuela military raid, the Trump Admin’s threats to Greenland’s independence are appalling & counterproductive.

5 years after a violent mob sought to overturn the election, we remember the heroic law enforcement officers who bravely defended your vote and the U.S. Capitol & condemn the corrupt pardons of convicted criminals.

At the same time the Trump Admin is making health care more expensive for families, it is weakening the health of children and our communities.
Trump, RFK dramatically overhaul child vaccine schedule
The move is a public health gamble that assumes children's health won't be endangered by cutting the shots they get.

Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. Donating blood is essential & each donation helps save lives.

Visited the great team at @ribloodcenter.bsky.social today to mark #NationalBloodDonorMonth & thank them for their tremendous work.

Trump’s attack on offshore wind is really an attack on our economy. He’s jacking up energy bills, firing thousands of union workers, & leaving our nation behind.

We need more energy in order to bring down costs. Trump is leading us in the wrong direction.

Happy New Year, RI!
January 1, 2026 at 3:25 PM
This year has certainly had its ups & downs. Through it all, we’ve gotten some great things done to move RI forward.

It’s the honor of my life to serve RIers in the U.S. Senate & I’m looking forward to the work we have ahead of us in 2026.

Putting some final bows on gifts and thinking of hardworking RIers away from their loved ones this Christmas.

Our nurses, doctors, servicemembers, police officers, firefighters, and laborers keep Rhode Island running and keep us safe.

Always grateful for them, especially this Christmas Eve.

Honored to present Mr. Joseph Machado from West Warwick w/ the Purple Heart he earned in Vietnam. While it’s been 55 years since Joe was wounded in combat serving in the Army, we are forever grateful for his service & sacrifice to our nation.

Pres. Trump’s outdated energy policies have already spiked energy bills by 13% this year. This re-do attempt to stop Revolution Wind is bad for our economy & environment, kills good-paying union jobs, & does absolutely nothing to lower costs.

For millions of Americans with ACA coverage, skyrocketing premiums start on January 1.

After months of Democrats urging action, the Speaker now says they’ll vote on ACA credits in January because Democrats forced his hand.

Republicans know what the problem is. They just refuse to fix it.

Many holiday shoppers are turning to Buy Now, Pay Later options. But buyers beware: BNPL can come with risks & strings attached.

We need clear rules of the road to ensure consumers get a transparent & fair deal.
