As Trump & Republicans shut down the gov’t and try to ignore the health crisis they created, open enrollment starts on November 1.

Millions of Americans will soon have their premiums skyrocket – many will see it double.

Congress must act with urgency, but the GOP is playing partisan games.

I’m fighting to make health care more affordable for all Rhode Islanders.

Leader Jeffries: A married couple that makes $85,000 per year currently may pay about $8,000 for their health insurance. That is already far too expensive. But that couple could see their premiums increase to $24,000 a year. They're going to lose their coverage or be forced into medical bankruptcy

Can you and your family afford to pay double or even triple the price for health insurance? Trump and Republicans have let the government shut down instead of lowering the cost for American families.

Democrats are fighting to help lower health costs & picking up more & more support. Looks like even a majority of MAGA now agrees w/ Dems & wants Trump to extend Obamacare tax credits.

These are the lowest cost insurance options for a 62 year old Georgian making $65k.

2025: $228
2026: $1142

She will lose $704/month in credits because of GOP cuts to health care.

This is a crisis. We cannot wait to fix this.

Trump Admin. is so desperate and partisan it’s altering civil servants’ email messages to try to mislead the public. But Americans are smart. They know Trump controls the gov’t & isn’t serving their best interests.

Can you afford 2x or 3x your current health care costs? Trump is tripling ACA premiums for a 55-year-old couple making $85k a yr & doubling them for thousands of RIers.

Republicans should work with Democrats to lower health care prices & end Trump’s shutdown.

Every American should be alarmed that Pres. Trump has decided he can wage secret wars against anyone he labels an enemy. Drug cartels must be stopped, but declaring war & ordering lethal military force without Congress or public knowledge - nor legal justification - is unacceptable.

Trump’s policies are hurting American workers & businesses. He's raising prices, killing job growth, sowing uncertainty & pushing America toward stagflation.

Now he's touting plans to fire more workers & halt development projects already underway.

Americans deserve better.

Americans are standing on a health care cliff.

More than 20 million Americans could see their premiums double.

Doctors, nurses, rural Americans, patients, and families are speaking out.

This isn’t political theater.

While Donald Trump demands cuts to health care for millions of Americans as his ransom to open the government back up, he’s sending $20 billion in U.S. tax dollars to Argentina to bail out his whacky far-right ally.

A Republican lie gets ripped to shreds.

FACT: No one in the U.S. illegally is eligible for federal Medicare, Medicaid, or ACA enhanced text credits.

Republicans are shutting down the government rather than fixing the health care crisis THEY CREATED.

There is one reason the government is shutting down: Republicans and Trump have refused to work with Democrats  to lower health care costs.

The Trump shutdown is brought to you by Russell Vought & Project 2025. This is what Trump’s OMB chief said about federal workers: “We want their funding to be shut down … We want to put them in trauma.”

It's the President's job to keep the government open— President Trump said so himself.

We can keep the government open and stop health care costs from rising even further, but only if he and congressional republicans are willing to negotiate.
